What inspired you to create Affirm Your Path?
Affirm Your Path was born from real life, not just ambition.
It came from surviving things that were never supposed to shape me so deeply, from carrying responsibilities that felt too heavy, from being the strong one while still needing healing myself. It came from navigating pain, trauma, motherhood, advocacy, and the quiet exhaustion of always having to hold everything together.
There were seasons in my life where I was pouring into everyone else while trying to survive emotionally on the inside. Seasons where I had to advocate, push, question systems, protect my children, and still find a way to keep going. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, unseen, and tired of being the one who always has to figure it out. I also know what it feels like to want more for your life while still carrying the weight of what you have been through.
Affirm Your Path was created for the person who is tired of surviving but is ready to heal. For the mother who has been strong for so long that she barely has space to feel. For the person who knows they are meant for more but feels stuck under the weight of everything life has placed on them. This work is personal for me because I understand what it means to fight for peace, clarity, and purpose while still healing in real time.

What makes your approach different?
What makes my approach different is that I do not separate healing from real life.
I understand that people are not just dealing with one issue at a time. They are carrying grief, pressure, disappointment, trauma, motherhood, identity shifts, burnout, and the silent pain of having to keep functioning while hurting. Too often, people are told to just be strong, move on, pray more, push through, or give themselves grace without ever being given a real space to unpack what they have actually been carrying.
My approach is rooted in compassion, truth, reflection, and empowerment. I believe people deserve support that honors both where they have been and where they are trying to go. I create a space where people can be honest about what hurts, what is heavy, and what needs to change. A space where healing is not rushed, pain is not minimized, and growth is not forced.
Because I have lived through my own seasons of survival, advocacy, and transformation, I meet people from a place of both empathy and depth. I understand that healing is not always pretty, quick, or linear. Sometimes it begins with finally admitting that you are tired. Sometimes it begins with acknowledging that you have been carrying too much for too long. Sometimes it begins with deciding that your life deserves more than survival.
